Missions

I was hungry and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me a drink.
I was a stranger and you welcomed me. I was naked and you gave me clothes to wear.
I was sick and you took care of me. I was in prison and you visited me.’

Matthew 25:35-36 (CEB)

As far as missions go, this church does more than many of it's larger peers.  We might not have all the fanciest missionaries, or the most fashionable missions to get attention from the right people, what we do have is authentic love for our neighbor, and we listen to the needs of the people in the community, and we do our best to help them.   What if we thought larger than our region?  You can help us find out.

Christmas Outreach

2021 is our 25th Year of this mission!!!
We adopt between 45 - 75 children and their families, provide them with presents, shoes and coats, stock their pantry, and provide them a Christmas meal complete with a Ham.  This year we were also able to provide 40 gifts to residents in nursing homes who do not have family.  We also suprised the Boys Ranch in Tahlequah with $1,000 to make sure all the boys had a good Christmas despite the pandemic.

The Bread of Life

This ministry began on Pentecost of 2019 as a partnership between the churches of the Dewey Ministerial Association (DMA).  During the first two weeks we gave out as much as we had in the previous six months.  Thanks to a community that is committed to ending hunger in our are, our shelves have never gone bare.  This ministry is all volunteer and exists solely from the donations and kindness of others.

Our Newest Mission

To Do Church, no matter wherever we are.

What if we were a digital church that just happened to have a physical space?  What if people in our state,  across the country, and around the world decided to DO CHURCH with us?  Join us on this newest mission as we empower real people to help people with real needs.
